Job Requirements
- Minimum eighteen years of age
- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- ability to walk and move continuously
- ability to climb stairs and ladders occasionally
- capability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with assistance
- effective eye-hand coordination and fine manipulation
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- ability to handle potentially hazardous materials and environments
- ability to work weekends mainly from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- ability to carry communication device at all times
- maintain safety awareness
- follow district policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Attendance at work site as scheduled
- collect garbage and pick-up litter in parks
- clean and maintain park restrooms
- report any concerns with the condition of parks such as vandalism or inappropriate behavior
- wear personal protective equipment as needed
- maintain effective two-way communication with staff and supervisors
- carry communication device while working
- provide high-quality customer service
- follow district policies, procedures, and guidelines
- support the district's core values daily
- maintain good safety awareness and adhere to safety procedures
