- previous experience in hospitality or guest services is beneficial but not mandatory
Job Duties
- Opening doors and assisting guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel
- controlling and directing vehicle traffic including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure legal parking and smooth traffic flow
- providing directions and information to guests about hotel amenities, services, service hours, and local areas of interest
- monitoring and maintaining the security, protection, and cleanliness of parking areas
- reporting any risks related to vehicles or security to management
- maintaining the security of vehicles and keys
- communicating parking procedures to guests and visitors
- complying with company policies and procedures
- reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to managers
- participating in safety training and certifications
- maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- protecting company property
- greeting guests according to company standards
- anticipating and meeting guest service needs
- assisting persons with disabilities
- using clear and professional language in communication
- answering telephones with appropriate protocol
- fostering positive relationships with coworkers
- supporting team objectives
- adhering to quality assurance standards
- standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods
- lifting, moving, and positioning objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- performing reasonable additional duties as requested by supervisors
