Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to respond to emergency situations
  • Regularly lift and or move up to 15 pounds
  • Available to work full time from early December through the end of the season
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Capable of supervising a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor winter conditions
  • Experience managing a team in a service or event environment is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of parking lot operations and traffic control
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Direct vehicles and guests as they enter Ice Castles parking lot with a friendly, safe and positive experience
  • Support the Event Manager with hiring, training and management of parking crew
  • Supervise assigned operations related to parking space and lot control including staff appearance and equipment
  • Schedule and manage employees including rotations and breaks
  • Execute a parking plan
  • Direct motorists and guests to parking areas or parking spaces using hand signals or traffic control lights
  • Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and thefts
  • Communicate parking challenges and proposed solutions with Event Manager
  • Maintain pathways and parking lot including snow removal and sand or salt application
  • Ensure parking area operates in accordance with company policy including safety and guest experience standards
  • Monitor, procure, and install all parking and traffic signs and parking cones
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Event Manager
