Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with basic cash counting
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to operate electronic cash register
- Ability to handle cash and complete deposits accurately
- Ability to perform surveillance and report incidents
- Ability to work full time
- Ability to participate in training and meetings
- Ability to maintain safety and security standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with basic cash counting
- Six months of experience as a cashier preferred
- Customer service skills
- Intermediate arithmetic and organization skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or under supervision
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Understanding and maintaining safety standards
Job Duties
- Collect parking tickets and associated parking fees
- Count and verify cash amounts collected
- Ensure operating cash amounts are maintained in accordance with department policy
- Make deposits and complete deposit forms
- Operate electronic cash register
- Collect waste from receptacles outside parking garages and surface lots
- Provide assistance and information to patients, visitors, faculty, and staff
- Perform customer service duties including answering telephone calls
- Raise and lower parking garage exit gates as needed
- Perform general surveillance and operate video surveillance equipment
- Report suspicious activities to Police Communication Center
- Complete and submit incident reports
- Participate in training new garage attendants
- Attend monthly meetings and training sessions
