Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with basic cash counting
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to manage cash transactions accurately
- Ability to perform general surveillance duties
- Ability to use electronic cash register
- Ability to perform physical tasks including waste collection
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to maintain safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with basic cash counting
- Six months of experience as a cashier preferred
- Customer service skills
- Intermediate arithmetic and organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or under supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Understanding and maintaining safety standards
Job Duties
- Collect parking tickets and associated parking fees
- Count and verify cash amounts collected
- Ensure operating cash amounts are maintained according to department policy
- Make deposits and complete deposit documentation
- Operate electronic cash register
- Collect waste from parking areas daily
- Provide assistance and information to patients, visitors, faculty, and staff
- Perform customer service duties including answering telephone calls
- Raise and lower parking garage gates as needed
- Conduct general surveillance including operation of video surveillance equipment
- Report suspicious activities to Police Communication Center
- Complete and submit incident reports
- Participate in training of new parking attendants
- Attend monthly meetings and training sessions
