Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with basic cash counting
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to manage cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to perform general surveillance duties
  • Ability to use electronic cash register
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including waste collection
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to maintain safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with basic cash counting
  • Six months of experience as a cashier preferred
  • Customer service skills
  • Intermediate arithmetic and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or under supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Understanding and maintaining safety standards

Job Duties

  • Collect parking tickets and associated parking fees
  • Count and verify cash amounts collected
  • Ensure operating cash amounts are maintained according to department policy
  • Make deposits and complete deposit documentation
  • Operate electronic cash register
  • Collect waste from parking areas daily
  • Provide assistance and information to patients, visitors, faculty, and staff
  • Perform customer service duties including answering telephone calls
  • Raise and lower parking garage gates as needed
  • Conduct general surveillance including operation of video surveillance equipment
  • Report suspicious activities to Police Communication Center
  • Complete and submit incident reports
  • Participate in training of new parking attendants
  • Attend monthly meetings and training sessions
