Job Requirements
- valid California Driver’s License with excellent driving record
- no license restrictions except for corrective lenses
- ability to operate manual, automatic, and electric vehicles
- willingness to work at any UCSF location on short notice
- willingness to work overtime as needed
- demonstrated exceptional attendance and punctuality
- ability to work professionally with diverse populations
- ability to communicate effectively
- basic computer literacy
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- minimum 2 years of valet or related parking industry work experience
- ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- basic computer skills
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- demonstrated professional and courteous customer service skills
- excellent attendance and punctuality
- ability to work under stress
- act in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
Job Duties
- perform valet services
- serve as customer service ambassador
- patrol and monitor parking garages as garage rover
- direct traffic efficiently
- enforce parking regulations
- act as department ambassador and greeter
- operate vehicles safely in tight parking spaces
