Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and nights
  • valid driver license and insurable driving record
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • experience in hospitality or transportation preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Associates or four-year college degree a plus
  • minimum 2 years of operations management or supervisory experience in hospitality industry
  • experience in guest or customer service, preferably in parking industry
  • working knowledge of parking and transportation systems software a plus
  • valid in-state driver license with clean driving record
  • expert in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • must be self-motivated and fast learner
  • above average reasoning ability
  • excellent problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Provide training and mentoring to junior staff
  • give critical feedback to junior staff
  • develop directly reporting supervisors and team members
  • assist with other parking operation duties as necessary
  • carry out disciplinary actions
  • oversee team member audits and follow-up
  • encourage team member development and participate in employee interviews
  • lead teams through visioning and strategy development
  • give clear direction to competent staff
  • offer consistent and timely feedback to hourly staff
  • communicate clearly and directly with guests
  • conduct scheduled team meetings to improve employee satisfaction
  • investigate guest and employee concerns timely
  • recognize bona-fide leads and refer to management and Human Resources
  • hire, train and develop Parking Attendants, Cashiers, Maintenance and Supervisors
  • create and maintain staffing schedules
  • set work expectations and leadership standards for employees
  • coordinate parking and transportation activities with other departments
  • develop and implement programs to improve guest and employee satisfaction
  • attend meetings with property management to ensure expectations are met
  • assist managing operating and labor budgets
  • uphold community involvement and property management initiatives
  • plan and execute customer service initiatives
  • submit reports to headquarters
  • ensure accurate submission of payroll
  • supervise internal and external audits
