Job Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • must maintain permanent residence in the State of Utah within 30 days of hire
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to bend and stand for long periods
  • ability to walk long distances
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • must be able to read, speak, and write English
  • successful completion of a criminal background check
  • part-time availability Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with flexibility for additional hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • good communication skills, both oral and written
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • knowledge of general office procedures and etiquette
  • excellent human relations skills
  • ability to safeguard privacy protected information
  • previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Enforce SLCC parking regulations and issue citations to violators
  • work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk long distances
  • operate in and out of vehicles during shifts
  • communicate effectively with a diverse college community
  • safeguard private and sensitive information
  • maintain professionalism and good human relations
  • perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
