Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- must maintain permanent residence in the State of Utah within 30 days of hire
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to bend and stand for long periods
- ability to walk long distances
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- must be able to read, speak, and write English
- successful completion of a criminal background check
- part-time availability Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with flexibility for additional hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- good communication skills, both oral and written
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- knowledge of general office procedures and etiquette
- excellent human relations skills
- ability to safeguard privacy protected information
- previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Enforce SLCC parking regulations and issue citations to violators
- work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk long distances
- operate in and out of vehicles during shifts
- communicate effectively with a diverse college community
- safeguard private and sensitive information
- maintain professionalism and good human relations
- perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
