Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units of American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand multi-tiered rate systems
- Availability for open work schedule
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- General knowledge of parking garage policies
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients, and coworkers
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to comprehend multi-tiered rate systems
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests promptly while maintaining professionalism
- Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Assist guests with directions, inquiries, and information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Provide instruction and assistance with self-parking equipment, including room key use and payment terminals
- Identify and collect revenue for all vehicles, completing accurate cash drop slips and shift reports
- Reconcile revenue and tickets at the end of each shift accurately
- Operate parking equipment such as registers, gates, and credit card machines
- Follow standard operating procedures related to cash banks and daily operations
