Job Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification including Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Non-Gaming Work Permit, Gaming Work Permit, Clark County Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Certificate, Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work in unfavorable conditions which occasionally be hot, cold, wet and noisy
  • Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to comprehend management, employee and guest verbal and written requests
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in case of emergency situations and to read caution and/or safety notices
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance
  • Social skills as demonstrated by the ability to deal with internal/external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve problems and concerns
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Job Duties

  • Identify guests who valet parked, greet the guest and request their portion of parking stub
  • Detach and give guest the numbered portion of stub
  • Instruct guest to retain stub and surrender it when they wish to retrieve their vehicle
  • Maintain parking stubs in the order they were received, to assure that vehicles are retrieved on a first come, first served basis
  • Give parking stubs to Lead Parking Attendant
  • Assist guest by answering any and all questions
