Job Requirements
- Must have a valid state driver's license with current address
- Ability to drive manual (stick shift) and automatic transmission vehicles
- Availability to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions
- Professional customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions including standing, walking, lifting, and handling equipment
- Commitment to show up on time for scheduled shifts
- Willingness to maintain neat appearance and uniform
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with current address
- Ability to drive manual (stick shift) and automatic transmission vehicles
- Prior valet parking experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos in English
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Effective presentation of information to customers and employees one-on-one
- Professional and upbeat attitude
- Ability to respond positively to customer questions, problems, or complaints
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using American money units
- Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, speak, hear, sit, climb, balance, and lift or move up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Drive, park, and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Assist customers getting in and out of their vehicles
- Respond to customer questions promptly and courteously
- Show up for work every scheduled day on time
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and remain in complete uniform during shifts
- Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and document findings
- Inform customers of valet rates as needed
- Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to supervisors
- Retain thorough knowledge of facility areas and local streets, landmarks, and freeways
- Provide directions to customers if needed
- Observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Assist supervisors and managers with additional duties as required
