Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year experience in a similar position, preferred
  • thorough knowledge and understanding of cashiering operations including ability to operate a fee computer and cash register
  • ability to count cash, complete cash report and make daily deposits
  • strong interpersonal skills to meet and greet the public
  • considerable ability to solve problems independently

Job Duties

  • greet guests and operate the parking booth with courtesy, accuracy, and efficiency
  • receive and process tickets using a fee computer and cash register system
  • charge appropriate parking fees and return correct change
  • follow all opening, closing, and money-handling procedures as outlined in the Parking/Valet Manual
  • ensure that drive lanes stay clear and traffic flows smoothly
  • direct guests to appropriate parking areas in a timely and helpful manner
  • report parking violations to Public Safety and communicate any issues promptly
  • monitor and refill ticket machines and report gate malfunctions to the Parking Manager
  • document and report any vehicle damage caused by equipment
  • support the team by cross-training in other related areas as needed
