Job Requirements
- 18 years old or older
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet physical demands such as walking long distances, standing for extended periods, lifting, and working at heights with or without accommodations
- Ability to provide legal documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility in the United States
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
- Must not have used illegal or social drugs excluding marijuana within last 90 days
- Agreement to receive text messages related to Six Flags communications
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience helpful but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English including reading, speaking, and understanding the language
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Friendly and outgoing personality with ability to address guest concerns positively
- Ability to work in a high-performance team environment and follow safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license with clear driving record
Job Duties
- Support the Six Flags mantra of friendly, clean, fast, and safe service
- Regularly inspect behind-the-scenes areas for cleanliness and safety issues
- Sanitize and clean office and restroom facilities including trash receptacles, sinks, toilets, mirrors, stalls, lights, vents, counters, walls, and floors
- Empty and replace liners in trash receptacles and restock toiletries as needed
- Transport waste to designated compactor areas following park waste policies
- Respond promptly to and clean up biohazard or vomit spills using appropriate materials and PPE
- Enforce and comply with all Six Flags New England policies and procedures including health and safety protocols
- Assist other areas of the Park Services Department as needed
- Perform additional duties assigned by Park Services Leadership team
