Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must be willing to work outside year-round
- must be able to pass a criminal background check
- ability to work flexible hours between 10:00 am and 6:30 pm, five days a week, including weekends
Job Qualifications
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- experience in customer service or public-facing roles preferred
- problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- knowledge of Seattle parks and local community events is a plus
Job Duties
- act as an information guide, answering questions about city destinations and events
- assist with program and event management including set-up and take-down
- ensure event areas are clean and free of debris prior to scheduled event/activation and before departing the park
- de-escalate and redirect when issues arise with park patrons
