Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Seattle residents through recreational and educational programs. In collaboration with Seattle Parks and Recreation, ARC provides access to licensed childcare and a wide variety of recreational and lifelong learning activities across the city. ARC is committed to creating safe, welcoming, and vibrant public spaces where community members can gather, learn, and enjoy outdoor amenities.

Job Requirements

must be 21 years of age or older
must be willing to work outside year-round
must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job Qualifications

ability to work outdoors year-round
effective communication and conflict resolution skills
comfortable interacting with diverse populations

Job Duties

act as an information guide answering questions about city destinations and events
assist with program and event management including set-up and take-down
ensure event areas are clean and free of debris prior to scheduled event activation and before departing the park
de-escalate and redirect when issues arise with park patrons
