Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license or reliable means of transportation
- Ability to work 20 hours per week including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Capability to work outdoors for prolonged periods
- Physical ability to walk, kneel, stoop, climb, lift, and carry moderate to heavy materials
- Willingness to perform custodial and maintenance duties
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and vehicles safely
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license or reliable means of transportation
- Customer service experience preferred
- Janitorial experience preferred
- Pool, spa, or spray ground experience preferred
- First aid and CPR certifications preferred
Job Duties
- Developing, maintaining, and demonstrating understanding of general park operations
- Performing facility maintenance and playground equipment inspections
- Explaining and enforcing park rules
- Patrolling park and athletic facilities and reporting suspicious activities
- Opening, monitoring, closing, and securing the park and facilities
- Providing excellent customer service
- Completing landscaping and grounds work including mowing, trimming, edging, and litter removal
- Operating equipment and vehicles such as pickups, utility vehicles, mowers, and tractors
- Performing custodial tasks including cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies
- Inspecting parks and facilities for repair needs and reporting to supervisors
- Utilizing power tools such as blowers and trimmers
- Assisting with operating and maintaining the spray ground
- Maintaining regular communication with coworkers and supervisors
- Assisting with parking and crowd control at special events
- Attending staff meetings and trainings
- Completing other duties as assigned
