Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- must be at least 18 years of age
- no experience required
- possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license
- ability to perform light physical work including lifting up to 20 pounds
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to communicate effectively with the public and supervisors

Job Duties
- Unlocks and locks gates at the designated times for the assigned park
- assists in keeping assigned areas, equipment, and supplies organized
- cleans and inspects restrooms, parking lots, picnic shelters, and adjoining sidewalks and trail heads
- drives and operates a vehicle to travel as needed
- inspects park areas and reports maintenance issues or repairs to appropriate personnel
- maintains an inspection log
- performs periodic inventories of equipment and supplies and requests needed supplies
- picks up trash
- disinfects playgrounds and swings
- assists with special events at the park facilities
- reports any concerns or issues to supervisor
- performs some clerical or manual tasks
- performs other related duties as assigned
