Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Unlocks and locks gates at the designated times for the assigned park
- Assists in keeping assigned areas, equipment, and supplies organized
- Cleans and inspects restrooms, parking lots, picnic shelters, and adjoining sidewalks and trail heads
- Drives and operates a vehicle to travel as needed
- Inspects park areas and reports maintenance issues or repairs to appropriate personnel
- Maintains an inspection log
- Performs periodic inventories of equipment and supplies and requests needed supplies
- Picks up trash
- Disinfects playgrounds and swings
- Assists with special events at the park facilities
- Reports concerns or issues to supervisor
- Performs clerical or manual tasks as assigned
