Job Requirements

  • Basic computer proficiency including email, data entry, and word processing
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor
  • ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • prior office or receptionist experience preferred
  • familiarity with the Catholic faith and parish life preferred

Job Duties

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • receive and process Mass intention requests
  • sort and distribute incoming mail and package deliveries
  • greet and assist visitors to the parish office
  • maintain up-to-date awareness of parish events and schedules
  • perform general clerical duties and administrative tasks as assigned
