Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent
- comprehensive knowledge of modern cooking procedures and health and hygiene requirements
- one years’ experience as a cook in a commercial or private environment

Job Duties
- perform in support of the parish’s spiritual and pastoral mission
- shall abide by Catholic principles in the cook’s professional and private life and shall govern his/her professional and private life in strict accordance with Catholic morals and principles to demonstrate complete adherence to Catholic moral strictures
- prepare meals for the Pastor, Clergy and guests as required
- plan nutritious and well-balanced meals, purchase food and related household items
- work within allotted budget guidelines
- ensure goods purchased are properly accounted for
- ensure all applicable hygiene requirements are always adhered to
- always ensure that health, sanitation, and safety requirements are met
- maintain a clean kitchen in accordance with normally accepted health guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned
