Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years ALS experience for flight paramedics or 3 years clinical experience for EMT-P/LP
- plan to assess and document competency and proficiency in critical care medical transport
- current Texas certification or licensure as a paramedic
- current CPR certification
- valid Texas driver's license and auto liability insurance
- ACLS certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- PALS certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- NRP certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- Stable certification within 90 days of employment and maintain
- TNCC certification audit within 6 months of employment and every 4 years thereafter
- advanced certification (FP-C, CCEMTP, C-NPT or TP-C) within 2 years
- emergency vehicle operators course during orientation and every 3 years thereafter

Job Duties
- Provide care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients via ground ambulance, helicopter, and fixed wing aircraft
- maintain readiness of medical equipment
- ensure availability of necessary supplies
- complete related paperwork and documentation
- apply knowledge of pediatric and neonatal care in the transport environment
- maintain positive working relationships with team members and families
- adhere to safety and regulatory protocols during transport
