Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
- currently licensed or certified in the assigned state as EMT-Paramedic
- current CPR and AED certification
- fulfill state basic IV therapy requirements
- completion of FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training
- minimum two years clinical or hospital setting experience

Job Duties
- Determine donor eligibility
- manage informed consent and AIDS education
- conduct medical history interviews and physical examinations
- perform blood testing and review serological test results
- evaluate and manage donor reactions and medical emergencies
- refer donors to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed
- support employee vaccination programs
- manage employee incidents and follow EHS guidance
- assist as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized
