Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED within one year of hire
  • Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Three years experience as a Paramedic in an emergency department and/or emergency pre-hospital setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work variable shifts
  • Physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as a Paramedic in an emergency department and/or emergency pre-hospital setting
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School diploma or GED within one year of hire
  • Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association

Job Duties

  • Provide safe and effective patient care within the scope of practice
  • Administer treatments and follow physician's orders in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Function under the direction of the hospital-based Medical Director
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to determine patient care interventions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and administrative policies
  • Deliver quality care and service that meets the needs of patients and their families
