Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED within one year of hire
- Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Three years experience as a Paramedic in an emergency department and/or emergency pre-hospital setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to work variable shifts
- Physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Three years of experience as a Paramedic in an emergency department and/or emergency pre-hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or GED within one year of hire
- Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
Job Duties
- Provide safe and effective patient care within the scope of practice
- Administer treatments and follow physician's orders in accordance with hospital protocols
- Function under the direction of the hospital-based Medical Director
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to determine patient care interventions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with established standards and administrative policies
- Deliver quality care and service that meets the needs of patients and their families
