Job Requirements
- active Indiana certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
- current CPR and ACLS certification
- minimum one year experience as an RN or EMT-Paramedic
- minimum one year experience working in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings
Job Qualifications
- active Indiana certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
- current CPR certification
- current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
- minimum of one year experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings
- knowledge of body substance isolation techniques
- ability to perform cardiac monitoring and interpret 12 lead EKGs
- skills in managing airways and ventilation
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to function in stressful situations
Job Duties
- intake processing including eligibility verification
- implementation of withdrawal management protocols
- evaluation of resident medical and withdrawal needs
- medication and injection administration as per prescribed orders and protocols
- documentation of relevant medical and treatment information
- maintaining safety and security of residents and staff
- participation in healthcare team collaborations and recovery discussions
