Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current Colorado State Paramedic certification
  • Current American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Provider card
  • Current ACLS card
  • Current PALS card
  • Satisfactory driving record per Falck USA policy
  • Completion of FEMA IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-5 A courses
  • Physical ability to meet company assessments and tests
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions
  • Valid state issued driver license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current State of Colorado Paramedic Card
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Current American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers card
  • Completion of FEMA IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-5 A courses
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with medical staff and other employees
  • Physical ability to perform EMT duties including bending, stooping, lifting, climbing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times

Job Duties

  • Presents himself or herself in a professional manner and displays a good public image
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of Falck USA including standard operating procedures and medical protocols
  • Participates and completes all daily assignments proficiently and punctually
  • Completes appropriate documentation according to company policies
  • Provides a safe environment and equipment for patients and staff
  • Operates emergency vehicles in a safe manner
  • Maintains vehicles and stations clean and presentable
  • Responds to dispatcher instructions and drives emergency vehicles
  • Develops and strives to achieve personal and professional goals
  • Maintains communications, medical equipment, and supplies
  • Performs interfacility transports
  • May serve as team lead to EMTs
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management
