Job Requirements
- Provide proof of required certifications
- Maintain compliance with all training and continuing education
- Complete vehicle inspection and maintenance documentation
- Adhere to New Jersey motor vehicle laws
- Participate in employee health testing and fit testing
- Availability to work assigned shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance compliance
- NJ Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (eligible for reciprocity)
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Hazmat Awareness Certification
- ICS 100, 200, NIMS 700, and 800
- Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training
- Preferred: PHTLS/ITLS certification
- Preferred: Associate degree
Job Duties
- Provide advanced life support services to patients
- Conduct patient assessment and follow established care protocols
- Operate emergency vehicles in compliance with laws and policies
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation
- Communicate professionally with patients, partners, and other healthcare personnel
- Complete routine safety and equipment checks
- Participate in continuing education and mandatory training programs
