Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience within an active EMS system providing advanced life support
- Must be between ages 21 and 79
- Must show proof of valid personal automobile insurance coverage in the State of New Jersey
- No reported driving-related violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Full-time availability for 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current NJ Paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- NREMT-P preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment
- Current state issued driver license with clean driving record
Job Duties
- Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care in all weather conditions
- Cooperate with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team
- Assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients safely to medical facilities
- Complete all required documentation accurately
- Maintain a professional attitude while performing assigned duties
- Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques for patient care
- Support efficient EMS operations through teamwork and communication
