Job Requirements

  • hold current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC paramedic certification
  • possess a valid driver's license
  • maintain ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certifications from AHA
  • physical fitness to handle lifting and transporting patients
  • ability to work in unpredictable weather conditions
  • commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
  • experience in advanced prehospital care

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assess patients for signs of illness or injury
  • provide efficient stabilization and advanced prehospital care
  • ensure safe and monitored transport to medical facilities
  • manage accident scenes and coordinate with emergency services
  • operate and maintain EMS equipment and ambulances
  • document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
  • maintain certifications and attend mandatory training sessions
