Job Requirements
- One year experience within an active EMS system providing advanced life support (ALS)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current NJ Paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment
- Current state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record
- Driver must be between 21 and 79 years old
- Proof of valid personal automobile insurance coverage in the State of New Jersey
- No reported driving-related violations or accidents in the past three years
- Available to work full time, 36 hours a week
- Able to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- NREMT-P preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment
- Current state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record
Job Duties
- Provide pre-hospital advanced life support (ALS) care in all weather conditions
- Cooperate with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team
- Attend to patients of all ages experiencing injury or illness
- Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move, and transport patients
- Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties to support efficient EMS operations
- Maintain a professional attitude in all work settings
