MVP Arena, located at 51 S. Pearl Street Albany, NY, is a prominent venue dedicated to hosting a wide array of events including concerts, sports, and community functions. Job Requirements
- Valid NYS Paramedic certification
- Minimum 5 years ALS service experience
- Maintain current ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications
- Completion of 20 hours CME annually if applicable
- Weekend availability
- Ability to meet minimum two event shifts per month
- Strong communication and computer skills
Job Qualifications
- Possess and maintain NYS Certification as a Paramedic
- At least 5 years continuous service with an ALS agency as an Advanced Life Support Provider
- Maintain ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to manage a sick patient independently
- Maintain 20 hours of CME per year if MVP Arena EMS is primary agency
- Ability to supervise EMS staff during events when assigned
Job Duties
- Assure compliance with state, regional, and local laws and EMS department policies
- Check BLS and ALS equipment prior to each event
- Assist in inventory and maintenance of EMS supplies and equipment
- Respond to medical emergencies in and around MVP Arena
- File reports and documentation in compliance with NYS DOH regulations
- Work closely with all EMS department employees
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
