Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience
- High school graduate
- Successful completion of EMT-Paramedic program or equivalent
- Successful completion of CCEMT-P or Critical Care Nursing program
- Satisfactory completion of Pennsylvania Department of Health practical and written examinations
- Current Pennsylvania EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse certification
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Current Provider BLS and ACLS certifications
- Hazmat Awareness certification
- EVOC/EMSVO certification
- Preferred additional certifications such as NREMT-P, PHTLS, BTLS, PALS, NALS, or Firefighting 1
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or equivalent
- Completion of approved CCEMT-P or Critical Care Nursing Program
- Pennsylvania certification as EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse
- Current Provider BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Hazmat Awareness certification
- EVOC/EMSVO certification
- Experience in pre-hospital advanced life support for a minimum of two years
Job Duties
- Provide basic and advanced life support to patients in the field
- Evaluate patient conditions quickly and accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient care reports
- Operate emergency vehicles safely
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient transport and care
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certifications
