Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience within an active EMS system providing advanced life support preferred
- current NJ paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- current BLS certification
- current ACLS certification
- current PALS or PEPP or EPC certification
- ICS-100 or equivalent upon hire
- IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent within first year
- IS-800 or equivalent within first year
- current state issued driver license with clean driving record
- driver must be between ages 21 and 79
- proof of valid personal automobile insurance in New Jersey
- no driving-related violations or accidents in past 3 years
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- current NJ paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- NREMT-P certification preferred
- current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment
- current state issued driver license with a clean driving record
- 1 year experience within an active EMS system providing ALS preferred
Job Duties
- provide pre-hospital advanced life support care in all weather conditions
- cooperate with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team
- assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients of all ages to appropriate medical facilities
- complete all required documentation and other assigned duties supporting EMS operations
- maintain a professional attitude at all times
- utilize appropriate equipment and techniques for patient safety
- respond promptly to emergency calls
