Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Food and beverage experience preferred but not required
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of math and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate good judgment
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety laws
  • Ability to maintain a professional company image including grooming and uniform standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Create and serve tea, coffee, and espresso drinks according to established standards
  • Greet guests warmly and take orders promptly within 30 seconds
  • Operate coffee making equipment including dismantling and cleaning machinery
  • Accurately process payments using point-of-sale systems and adhere to cash handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dish duties
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, involving management as needed
  • Assist with training new team members and support other restaurant areas such as seating and answering telephones
