Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bar or restaurant service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take drink and food orders
  • Provide information about menu items and look for additional sales opportunities
  • Create lasting first and last impressions with guests
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and food with thorough menu knowledge
  • Use proper drink mixing tools and techniques with attention to detail
  • Prepare garnishes and fruit for cocktails accurately
  • Process transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system
  • Respond appropriately to customer concerns
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and manage intoxicated guests
  • Ensure the bar is clean, sanitized, and well-stocked
  • Stock and clean glassware using proper equipment
  • Perform opening and closing side work as directed
  • Deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public in both national brands and local concepts
