Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to lift or push objects weighing over 40 lbs
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Basic communication skills
  • Willingness to follow safety and hygiene standards
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and product directions for proper food preparation
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
  • Prepare appropriate equipment for cooking
  • Operate kitchen utensils and equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, slicing, assembling and kneading food products
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
  • Receive and inventory food and beverage product and supplies
  • Clean and sanitize work station and equipment
