Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift or push objects weighing over 40 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • capability to interact comfortably with customers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment beneficial but not required
  • ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety

  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • teamwork and cooperation skills

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and product directions for proper food preparation
  • transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
  • prepare appropriate equipment for cooking
  • operate kitchen utensils and equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, slicing, assembling and kneading of food products
  • ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
  • receive and inventory food and beverage products and supplies
  • clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
