Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift or push objects weighing over 40 lbs
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Comfortably converse with customers
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
  • Willingness to adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Eligibility to work legally in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or culinary work preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment and utensils effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and product directions for proper food preparation
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
  • Prepare appropriate equipment for cooking
  • Operate kitchen utensils and/or equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, slicing, assembling and kneading of food products
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
  • Receive and inventory food and beverage products and supplies
  • Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
