- previous culinary or banquet kitchen experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a culinary or banquet kitchen environment is an asset
- knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
- ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic understanding of food handling and sanitation regulations
- ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- customer-focused and adaptable to changing priorities
Job Duties
- set up and perform preparation work for food items including, but not limited to, soups, sauces, salads, etc.
- stock and maintain designated food station(s)
- maintain cleanliness and food sanitation standards at all times
- practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- assist and prepare food for kitchen team to support banquet and event service
- ensure compliance with Hilton's quality and safety standards
- support team members and collaborate to achieve operational goals
