Job Requirements

  • previous culinary or banquet kitchen experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a culinary or banquet kitchen environment is an asset
  • knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
  • ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • basic understanding of food handling and sanitation regulations
  • ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • customer-focused and adaptable to changing priorities

Job Duties

  • set up and perform preparation work for food items including, but not limited to, soups, sauces, salads, etc.
  • stock and maintain designated food station(s)
  • maintain cleanliness and food sanitation standards at all times
  • practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • assist and prepare food for kitchen team to support banquet and event service
  • ensure compliance with Hilton's quality and safety standards
  • support team members and collaborate to achieve operational goals
