Job Requirements

  • Experience as a pantry cook or related role
  • knowledge of cold food preparation and plating
  • ability to maintain speed and accuracy in fast-paced settings
  • understanding of sanitation and safety standards
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • culinary school training preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a pantry cook, Garde Manger, or related culinary role
  • strong knowledge of cold food preparation, ingredients, and plating techniques
  • ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with industry best practices
  • culinary school training is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble cold dishes, salads, dressings, and appetizers
  • ensure all pantry ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service
  • follow recipes and plating instructions to maintain consistent quality
  • support the culinary team by preparing ingredients and mise en place for service
  • maintain a clean and organized pantry station, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
  • monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • collaborate professionally with coworkers and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
