Job Requirements

- At least 3 years of kitchen experience in a hotel
- Ability to operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to stand, bend, twist, and walk for extended periods

- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- No supervisory experience required

Job Duties
- Prepare presentations of dishes and trays for banquets
- Prepare cold dishes
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare dishes
- Portion, chop, and store ingredients before use
- Prepare and cook food
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Monitor food quality during preparation and throughout the day
- Taste dishes to ensure proper cooking
- Notify management of products that do not meet specifications
- Clean and sanitize kitchen area, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Organize and divide workstations
- Check and ensure correct appliance and food temperatures
- Comply with all safety and company policies
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- Participate in safety training and obtain safety certifications
- Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
- Protect company property and confidential information
- Greet all guests according to company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
- Support team goals and maintain positive work relationships
- Stretch, bend, twist, stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods
- Lift, move, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
