Job Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates welcome
- previous kitchen experience is a plus
- Servsafe certification is a plus
- ability to follow Chef's recipes and techniques
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Maintain clean, sanitary and organized work area
- prepare all food items, cold and hot, according to Chef's recipes and techniques
- complete meal prep activities before guests arrive, including chopping, stocking and storing back up items
- perform proper plating, including portions, temperatures, and garnishment
- must be able to communicate well with team members and supervisors in a potentially noisy environment
- must be able to multitask, prioritize in a fast paced environment
- stand for long periods of time
- lift, carry 25 lbs. or more
- assist with storage of ingredients for maintaining freshness, reducing waste, abide by food code regulations
- assist Chef with inventory
- clean/sanitize work station, equipment, refrigerators, storage areas, and floors at the end of shift
