Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs or more
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Basic food safety knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience is a plus
  • Servsafe certification is a plus
  • Ability to follow recipes and kitchen instructions

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean sanitary and organized work area
  • Prepare all food items cold and hot according to Chef's recipes and techniques
  • Complete meal prep activities before guests arrive including chopping stocking and storing back up items
  • Perform proper plating including portions temperatures and garnishment
  • Communicate well with team members and supervisors in a potentially noisy environment
  • Multitask prioritize in a fast paced environment stand for long periods lift carry 25 lbs or more
  • Assist with storage of ingredients for maintaining freshness reducing waste abide by food code regulations
  • Assist Chef with inventory
  • Clean sanitize work station equipment refrigerators storage areas and floors at the end of shift
