Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs or more
Good physical stamina
Ability to follow food safety standards
Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

Entry level welcome
Previous kitchen experience is a plus
Servsafe certification is a plus
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Good communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties

Maintain clean, sanitary and organized work area
Prepare all food items, cold and hot, according to chef's recipes and techniques
Complete meal prep activities before guests arrive, including chopping, stocking and storing back up items
Perform proper plating, including portions, temperatures, and garnishment
Communicate well with team members and supervisors in a potentially noisy environment
Multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
Stand for long periods of time
Lift and carry 25 lbs or more
Assist with storage of ingredients for maintaining freshness, reducing waste, and abiding by food code regulations
Assist chef with inventory
Clean and sanitize work station, equipment, refrigerators, storage areas, and floors at the end of shift
