Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs or more
  • Good physical stamina
  • Ability to follow food safety standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience is a plus
  • Servsafe certification is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean, sanitary and organized work area
  • Prepare all food items, cold and hot, according to chef's recipes and techniques
  • Complete meal prep activities before guests arrive, including chopping, stocking and storing back up items
  • Perform proper plating, including portions, temperatures, and garnishment
  • Communicate well with team members and supervisors in a potentially noisy environment
  • Multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Lift and carry 25 lbs or more
  • Assist with storage of ingredients for maintaining freshness, reducing waste, and abiding by food code regulations
  • Assist chef with inventory
  • Clean and sanitize work station, equipment, refrigerators, storage areas, and floors at the end of shift
