Job Qualifications
- Entry level welcome
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus
- Servsafe certification is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
Job Duties
- Maintain clean, sanitary and organized work area
- Prepare all food items, cold and hot, according to Chef's recipes and techniques
- Complete meal prep activities before guests arrive, including chopping, stocking and storing back up items
- Perform proper plating, including portions, temperatures, and garnishment
- Communicate well with team members and supervisors in a potentially noisy environment
- Multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Stand for long periods of time and lift, carry 25 lbs or more
- Assist with storage of ingredients for maintaining freshness, reducing waste, abide by food code regulations
- Assist Chef with inventory
- Clean and sanitize work station, equipment, refrigerators, storage areas, and floors at the end of shift
