Job Requirements

  • Must have 2 plus years of kitchen management experience
  • proven upward career tracking in previous roles
  • culinary school background preferred
  • ability to communicate in Spanish is beneficial
  • capacity to work ten-hour-plus shifts while standing, sitting, or walking
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • finger and hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and knives
  • ability to withstand heat, steam, smoke, and confined work areas
  • hearing, visual, and sensory capabilities to detect emergency situations and assess food quality

Job Qualifications

  • Must have 2 plus years of kitchen management experience in a full-service, moderate to high-volume restaurant
  • solid track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking
  • culinary school background a plus
  • ability to speak and understand Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Oversee overall kitchen operations and back-of-house activities
  • purchase food and manage inventory stock
  • train staff on food preparation and kitchen safety procedures
  • ensure food quality, portion control, and timely service
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitary standards
  • enforce health and safety regulations within the kitchen
