Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1-2 years hospitality experience
  • possess food management certifications if possible
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills
  • maintain a positive attitude and high energy
  • ability to handle work pressure and diverse teams
  • hold a valid driver’s license
  • reliable transportation
  • willing to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA
  • able to work full-time in person

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years hospitality experience
  • food management certifications a plus
  • proven track record for leadership
  • excellent organization, customer service and time management skills
  • passion, energy and a positive attitude
  • ability to work well under pressure and with a diverse group of people
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Serve as a role-model and lead the team
  • ensure that team members are providing great customer service
  • take ownership for the business performance of the restaurant
  • maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures
  • run quality opening, mid and closing shifts ensuring a consistent positive customer experience
  • coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • greet customers and do table visits to ensure customer satisfaction
  • recruit, train and motivate staff
  • assist the specialist within the bakery-cafe, ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support
  • ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values and following ethical business practices
  • exhibit a professional image
  • promote and embody company values and beliefs
