Job Requirements
- Must have 3+ years of management experience and food and beverage management
- ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- must be able to read and write
- possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- stable employment track record
- ability to work 45 hour work weeks including 5 hours overtime
- must have a run it like you own it mentality
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
- degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred
- food management certifications a plus
- proven leadership skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- experience in budget and labor management
- ability to coach and develop teams
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- customer service excellence
- ability to work morning shifts
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding leadership to the cafe team
- ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and safety
- manage overall business performance including ordering, scheduling, labor and budget management
- analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
- coach and mentor associates through one-on-one meetings, performance documentation, and reviews
- retain and develop team members and managers
- greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure satisfaction
- recruit and train staff to meet staffing par levels
- coordinate overall restaurant operations during shifts
- serve as primary resource for resolving associate questions
- create and execute plans for sustained profitability
- inspire associates to be authentic and productive
