Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability
  • Physical ability to stand walk and move throughout the work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and push or pull carts up to 250 lbs occasionally
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards
  • Clean background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of Forbes Five Star service standards
  • Proficiency with restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience in training and developing staff
  • Customer orientation and commitment to quality service

Job Duties

  • Interview select train supervise counsel and discipline restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet
  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff such as VIPs and menu changes
  • Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments
  • Maximize restaurant department profitability implement effective controls of food beverage and labor costs and monitor the restaurant’s budget to ensure efficient operations including achieving budgeted revenue and labor expenses
  • Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory ordering retrieving and stocking product
  • Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation
  • Develop and implement cost savings and profit enhancement measures
  • Utilize computers to accurately charge customers create forecast and revenue reports and draft correspondence
  • Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take corrective action to ensure food quality and service standards are met
  • Work with the CDC to ensure food quality and product meet standards
  • Provide guidance for improvement and implement necessary adjustments for consistency
  • Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the restaurant recommend and implement new marketing and or operational policies and procedures when necessary to keep up with demand and market changes investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints
  • Interact positively with customers
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to the restaurant and all local state and federal laws and regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of all work and service areas
  • Participate in developing implementing and marketing new and creative menus to attract a predetemined customer market
  • Promote cross selling of other hotel outlets and the company
