Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong physical stamina to meet job demands
  • proficiency in inventory management and staff scheduling
  • capacity to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and push or pull carts up to 250 pounds occasionally
  • valid work authorization
  • commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • adherence to equal employment opportunity principles

  • expertise in food and beverage cost control

  • ability to enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline restaurant staff
  • organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings communicating pertinent information
  • schedule and direct staff in work assignments
  • maximize restaurant department profitability by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs
  • maintain par stock levels through inventory management
  • develop and implement cost savings and profit enhancement measures
  • use computer systems to manage customer charges, create reports, and draft correspondence
  • monitor facility and kitchen to ensure food quality and service standards
  • work with Culinary Development Center to ensure food quality standards are met
  • provide guidance for improvements and consistency
  • regularly review and evaluate customer satisfaction
  • recommend and implement marketing and operational policies
  • ensure compliance with all restaurant policies and legal regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • participate in developing and marketing new menus
  • promote cross-selling of hotel outlets
