Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • three or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance environment
  • valid material handling equipment certification
  • good communication skills
  • ability to train others
  • capability to work in fast paced and physically demanding environment
  • willingness to work overtime when required
  • physical ability for continuous standing, walking, stair climbing, and lifting up to 55.12 lbs
  • adherence to GMP, AIB, and company safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • technical school graduate preferred
  • minimum three years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ability to train other associates
  • ability to work as a member of a Self-Directed Work Team
  • knowledge of associate safety guidelines
  • understanding of GMP and food safety guidelines
  • ability to operate, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment and conveyors
  • experience contributing to Production Improvement and Associate Involvement teams

Job Duties

  • Operate all equipment in the palletizing room, including programming, troubleshooting, and documentation
  • perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on palletizing, conveying, and stretch wrapping equipment
  • ensure proper lubrication, belt tracking, and start-up procedures
  • maintain valid material handling equipment certification
  • keep work area safe and orderly according to GMP, AIB, and safety guidelines
  • perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • work in other areas as necessary
